News Staff Reporter, Arlington Advocate, Arlington, MA August 2007-Present

• Wrote almost every news story in the paper
• Took Advocate "new media" reporting to a new level though blogs, video, pictures and writing
• Collaborated with the local television station as a street reporter for Arlington Town Day coverage, a first for the Advocate
• Covered everything from meetings to special interest stories
• Interacted closely with both residents and town officials, as the Advocate is the only local paper
• Competed daily with the Boston Globe, Boston Herald and a local news blog
• Produced breaking news content for the website, rather than waiting for the weekly deadline
